Commentary of the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in connection with sending of Russian humanitarian cargo to the Transniestria

On March 20, 2006 in Lviv the 5th session of the Ukrainian – Polish Coordination Council on interregional cooperation was held. The session was headed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Handogiy and Deputy Minister of Interior and Administration of the Republic Poland Wieslaw Tarka.

On March 18, 2006 in Vienna Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk met with the Special Envoy of the UN secretary general for the talks on the future status of Kosovo and Metohija (Serbia and Montenegro) Martti Oiva Kalevi Ahtisaari.

On March 17, 2006 at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine a special meeting of the Public Council under the MFA of Ukraine dedicated to the Transniestrian settlement took place.
